MArtin czajkowski

Martin Czajkowski was born in Plock, Poland on September 10th 1996. In 2016, he relocated to London, where he started making street photography. At the same time, he was involved in creating MAGIEL magazine as a Creative Director and Photojournalist. Between 2016 and 2019, he worked as an editor of Optyczne.pl, where he had a chance to cooperate closely with camera manufacturers while reviewing photographic equipment. He graduated from the photography program at the School of Phototechnical Studies in Warsaw in 2017. Between 2016 and 2019, he worked with JazzPRESS magazine editors, regularly covering jazz concerts doing both - writing reviews and providing photographic reports. That resulted in an on-going project, which is an exploration of different kinds of music and how we perceive them. In 2019 he moved to New York and the following year he graduated from the Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism program at the International Center of Photography, where he was awarded the Director’s Scholarship.
